Monmouth defeated Rider in a tight game on Monday night at Alumni Gymnasium in Lawrenceville, NJ. Justin Robinson scored 25 points and Chris Brady had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Norville Carey led the Broncs with 17. Here’s the video recap.

This season may very well be a big one for the MAAC. Many of the league’s most talented players return, including the reigning Player of the Year, Monmouth’s Justin Robinson.
Monmouth did not make it look pretty, but they did secure their MAAC quarterfinal win on Friday night over Rider by an 11 point margin by the final buzzer.
After the win on Friday night, Monmouth head coach King Rice made a point to thank Rider head coach Kevin Baggett.
