Three Videos From Last Week

New York City schools were all over the SportsCenter Top 10 last week. Here are three moments that were captured on video and memorialized on YouTube.

The first is from Hofstra’s 55-52 loss to Drexel last Wednesday. Drexel’s Frantz Massenat hit this ridiculous shot at the buzzer to give the Dragons the victory.

The second is from Saturday afternoon, where Stony Brook defeated Maine 79-69. It’s actually five plays though as Tommy Brenton had himself a field day against the Black Bears’ zone, going for a triple-double.

Finally, here’s a little Ivy League action. While John Daniels’ dunk got the crowd at Levien fired up, it wasn’t enough to help Columbia overcome a 15-point second half deficit.

Expect more great action from around the NYC area this week! There are some big games in the NEC as Robert Morris comes to town to play St. Francis Brooklyn and LIU Brooklyn on Thursday and Saturday, plus a whole host of other intriguing games.

Stony Brook dominates Albany! Warney will probably get his 8th AE rookie of the week award. TB was as usual everywhere doing everything.
